American citizen after his marriage. He didn't have any sisters,
brothers or children.
The
town of Gent is situated in the Dutch-speaking (Flemish) northern
part of Belgium.

the 19th century, French was the administrative language
and also the language spoken by the middle- and upperclass. "Boulevard du chateau" is
the French trannslation for "Kasteellaan".
