    Charles Waldack was born in Belgium and was naturalized as an American citizen after his marriage. He didn't have any sisters, brothers or children.
    The town of Gent is situated in the Dutch-speaking (Flemish) northern part of Belgium.
    In the 19th century, French was the administrative language and also the language spoken by the middle- and upperclass. "
    Boulevard du chateau" is the French trannslation for "Kasteellaan".
